You have to find a way to use your creative voice even if no one else seems to be listening. Create because you want/need to create, not because you want to be heard. Being heard is about fame and recognition for what you have done, but creation is about having the ability to speak in your own unique voice.
Find a way to say what you have to say, and then don’t worry about the results. Because in the end, it’s not about the paycheck or the applause, it’s about bringing something uniquely powerful into the world that could have only come from your creative imagination. It’s not about them — it’s about you. Create because you have something to say and not because it is what they want to hear.
