We think we know where we are going.
After all, we’ve got it all planned out.
We’re going to start here, do this, and then we are going to end up here–except it doesn’t.
Stuff happen, plans change, and we are forced to adjust.
Things may not always work out the way we had imagined they would, but we will never get anywhere if we stop along the way.
Bill Watterson was exactly right when he said that we’ll “discover where we are headed when we arrive.”
In the meantime, we just have to find a way to keep going.
