Far too often we stay in certain situations or with people who don’t truly support us. We continue to hang around them because we want to belong and we don’t want to end up alone. So we suck it up, we hold back, and we hide who we really are in order to fit in.
What no one ever tells us, however, is that there is a group of misfits out there for all of us. A small dedicated group of people who aren’t going to try and change us, but instead celebrate who we already are. They allow us to express ourselves without having to pretend to be something we’re not.
This is our group, our tribe, and the one place we are finally able to become the person we were meant to be — Welcome home!
