Nobody likes to screw up.
None of us wakes up in the morning and say to ourselves. ‘I really hope today’s the day that I totally ruin this painting or write another blog post that completely sucks!’
We don’t plan to fail, but sometimes it happens and that’s okay.
We make mistakes, we learn from them, and then hopefully we don’t do the same stupid thing over and over again.
It’s simply part of the process.
We can’t take it personally or fall into the trap thinking that our failure is permanent.
Thinking you are going to fail the next time you try something is just as silly as thinking that you will always succeed.
That’s the thing, you’ll never know how it’s going to turn out until you actually do it.
So you might as well get started and see what happens.
“To try and fail is at least to learn. To fail to try is to suffer the loss of what might have been.” ~Benjamin Franklin
